Black dot
There is ‘something’ which talks about focusing on the white area rather than black dot (of others). And this teaching wants us to focus on other’s good rather than 1 fault made in their life.
But, how many people out there really allow their loved ones to have that such a ‘BLACK DOT’ in their life. Our mindsets are always trying to make perfect of our beloved, our most admired one. Even the smart one, the every-year-multi-talented-unbeatable-number-1 is not allowed to fall even once.
Do we learn to make allowance for the existence of black dot(s)?
It sounds contradicting as it sounds like allowing sinning in certain situations. However, it varies how you percept this idea.
Focusing on the bright sides of one VS accepting the bad sides of one (and live with it)
We focus on her good attitude, thriftiness, cuteness etc. and yet accepting the fact that she has had a few ex-es, she mix too well in her social world etc.
Is this situation possible? We can think of many, many more examples and cases.
I heard from someone, sometimes a person’s flaw is too big enough to cover up all the other good. Mathematically, it is something like 1 > 2, 3, 4, 5……
Is it not true?
Well, we don’t talk about blaming people for making small faults. The subjects are those BIG one, not your gf forget to wake you up to watch World Cup, but something like, what if your gf was …… well, fill in the blank yourself. Whatever it could be!
