1 week before January ends/ February comes

I must not forget the most interesting part of each new semester- Welcoming party for juniors.
I am of Group 36 so this January intake of juniors are of G40. Imagine, 2 years I am here. hahaha... At the end of the year I will be having farewell party organised by juniors.

Date: 9.01.09
Theme: Seasons

They are my group of friends. They were involved in presentation- *drumroll* Miss 2009! contestants are from "all over the world"
L-R ( clockwise): Ms Korea, Ms Hawaii, Ms Spain (crowned as Ms 2009), tray-girl, Ms Thai, Ms New York, *ahem ahem* coordinator, Ms Egypt, Ms North Pole, Ms Indonesia, Ms China, Ms 1950 (a.k.a emcee), Ms Japan, Ms India (late contestant), dancer for Ms Spain and Mr Translator (who translate for all non- English speaking ladies).
It's meant to be hilarious and creative! So we use a banana pillow to tie on hair so that it looks like the ancient Korean like the one in "Jewel of Palace". And also my purple pillow as "big ribbon" for kimono.
So, this is one of a nice blouse I saw in Prangin Mall. But I am not sure can I buy that in black or a pink one just meant for Chinese New Year. At last I didn't buy anything for Monday's CNY. Just some new jeans bought last sales and new heels. Not to forget my new pair of skinny too.
Recently I am so obsess with classics /piano. Like Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata and Richard Clayderman's "dream wedding" and "whatwhat Adelaine". Also not to forget Pachelbel's Canon in D. And I found out the song that I heard during my early childhood "Don't cry for me, Argentina" is actually by Madonna (WT*dut dut*) and is from a movie inspired by a true story "EVITA". Madonna featured in Eva Peron.
That's my *ahem ahem* piece of clothes. I am a red-piped senior now. Final year student! So happy 'cause finally I am here. It's difficult this semester. Much because of research study and the coming of end of student's life. Going to graduate soon and got to function independantly.

I am waiting to go home. Just finish exam this morning. Today was good. Yesterday's paper was just too saddening and disappointed. Disappointment from 20-questions-only paper. That mean is 5 marks/each! WT*dut dut* It's so easy not to get A! So easy to fail as well. (T___T)

Oh, another thing. I am still in hostel. Tomorrow morning still having neuro class. Dad will come late to fetch me. I afraid traffic jam will delay the journey more. I can't wait to see festive house! I can't wait to indulge in grandma's home cooked lor hon zai (vegetarians) and happy moment of wearing "prettily"!! lol... Mom rang me up and told me I am working part time on Day 2 and DAy 3 of CNY. It's double-pay. So, for the RM 90+ I'll just have less fun and work for the sake of good investment in future new home! :D

New Year?!

Oh is it????

I'm totally not in the mood and I guess this situation will sustain till the day I reach home and see a lot of red red decoration!

What do I expect for new year? Ermm... ang paosss and home-cooked food, good soups and REST, away from hustle-bustle of study life. And ya, I hope I can meet up with some friends at least for this 1-week break instead of a similar pathetic life in last semester break! FREEEAAAAKKKKK!

And I have new commitment. Is money/savings issue. Need to give up all those good food(sssss) on the island and stick with cafeteria provided meals to save more money in short period. And this simply mean that no more TAO, G hotel seafood buffet, Equatorial Hotel Japanese buffet... maybe no more Aji Noren, Winter Warmers and the list goes on. Peeps all around the world, if you are not in the crisis, you're in good life, unlike me. I'm 100% living on my own.

What is not so good in Penang here is land is too precious and limited and thus houses are way too expensive. RM 240k for an apartment with 5 rooms and 4 toilets (some more it's a penthouse!). Ok, about renting is roughly about RM 300/room. Slightly cheaper than my previous one at Pulau Tikus area. And I think the market price is like this.

Ok, finish crapping. I just wanted to spend time. It's lunch break and I don't like today's lunch menu- eggs. So I came back for my Sunmaids raisins instead. K, gerontology class 30 minutes later.

buh-bye...

p.s: can't wait to hang out with my besty from over-d-sea-and-is-smaller-than-Penang. (is it smaller?wateva~ :D)

Too busy, too little of time

I feel guilty for leaving my blog in a corner for a week's time. Thinking of how free I am when I was holidaying last month. So punctual to update every details in life.

But now I'm just so busy. I just manage to squeeze some time out to blog plainly. Loading photos is time-consuming. But without photos, blogging is dull. Ok, let me tell you why I am busy. Test I is on coming Thursday and Friday. Just 3 papers, 30 minutes each. 'cause all are multiple choice type. Nonetheless, this indicates that each question carries lot of marks. 4-5 marks... Ok, exam is coming and I'm not yet start studying. Perhaps put in this way: haven't decide should I study or what.

Don't get me wrong. I am not that brilliant 'cause topics like neurology and ortho, I will easily get bored-tired-unattentive then finally dreaming...

Another thing in priority is datelines for Research Introduction and Literature Review. My introduction rejected once, not enough of points. Still working it out. Lengthening the things. Reviewing more articles. Squeezing in new points. Another group was commented that theirs is too much points. Immediately I feel so sad. How can this thing happen? Why some people has so many things and some has too little things... *sob*

Tutor wants them to be ready before Saturday holiday. So, I am so so so undecided what to do. And the thing is, it's not just about me, about the whole group. You need to give commands on your members what to do. Or else, everyone might not be on the right track.

Another story, Saturday night I had a girls' night out. Dinner at a bistro where they serve big portion of set meal at the price of RM 21.50 (exclude 10% tax). Quality not that best but overall rating is 4 over 5. After that, we walked around. Saw a stall, selling good quality of dresses. Saw a satin maroon dress sold at the price of RM 68 only. The inner lining is so good. If you were to buy it at any boutiques in malls, it would be at least RM 100! I was sad 'cause I don't have that much of cash with me and I dare not buy a maroon dress. What if it is a black. Trust me, first thing you will say is "walao." I want it so much. *sobsobsobsobsobsob* Because........... *sobsobsob* I just came across the same dress cladded in one of those celebrities' body. Forgot which award thingy. The dress has a big ribbon in front, to cover your bust. *continue to sob*

Finish sobbing, no mood to blog anymore. I am intended to update and make my blog top on your blog lists nia... XD

Oh *dut dut*

*dut dut dut** (censored speech)

I'm so so packed by assignments. So many projects become part of my life, my routine? To do research, I feel that I'm as if switching course, changing role. It's a huge subject, a major thingy. I realised that I would rather do 2 case studies like last semester. 2, nvm. I give extra miles...

Friday night, I just back from meeting, discussing with friends and another group group leader concerning composing Introduction. It's difficult. To put in all sentences that people had proved with their evidences, their research findings. My mind is stucked. Is glued. Is lacking of brain cells.

Ok, rewind. Before meeting, I went to Welcoming Party for new batch of juniors. It's very fun and had good performances. I am so eager to put up some photos and keep telling story. Ok, hint hint. My class was doing "Miss 2009 Beauty Pageant" and it was a superb! With all those costumes and laughing-out-loud QUESTIONING sessions... And the Miss 2009 was from SPAIN *blink blink* WAhahaahhaha And I was part of the planning. *teehee*

Chinese New Year is coming. I don't know what to expect this year. What's important now is research, research, research, research and Test I on 22nd of January. I love January. I love January. I love January. I truly love it to the extent of, I want to pause it NOW!

In new semester

Oh, it's my final year. I can't forget my first day when I stepped into the gate, and when I opened up my hostel room. It's a BIG room, and I really appreciate it a lot. It's bigger than the one at home.

I am wearing red pips this year. And it's final year, again I say. Final year. Senior. Graduation soon. The statement my mom made when I failed my A-level and switching to this course, vividly sounding.

"You wasted my whole ten thousands..."

So, I'll get back everything for my mom, more than ten thousand, more than 4 zeros. I wanted her to know that I'll strive on this one, cling on it till the end. Considering one year is fast in terms of time flies.

I knew my impulsive decisions and the consequences. I knew and realised my mistakes. My cold passion at that time.

That was past. That was over.
Isaiah 43 : 18 Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past.

So, I shall not.

Gerontology, Community health, Orthopaedic, Ophthalmology, E.N.T, Neurology - my subjects/ systems that I'm learning. So, maybe at the end of semester, you can ask me about paralysis, fractures, brain injury, ageing process, memory loss, Laser surgery or something, maybe contact lenses?! I'm expertise in wearing lenses. No need mirror. *proud*

Serious, how can I leave alone the "Introduction of Nursing Research", the major in-progress subject for this semester. In-progress means you learn the theory part today and you also try to put it in practise, you organise/ start a study. As you all already know, I'm the leader. Who is panicky and seek for the best in everything we do. Note: not PERFECT. We are not perfect, don't talk about perfectionism with me. (I don't believe it.) I have hard time on this. Got to study a lot of original articles that researchers had written and find some problems and we generate a new thing or similar one. Reading so many at once is dehydrating my mind. In addition, the Caucasians' good, bombarstic language. On top of that (ice cream), we're learning citations and references and a programme named EndNote. Plagiarism and quoting is just a thin line apart. *tskkk tskkk* Give credit to original authors. Acknowledge original. (No piracy~~ WooHoo)

Btw, a lot of people talk about New Year: New Resolution in blogosphere. I wanted to. But now it's already 6th! (T__T) Nevermind, let you all have an idea what I'm trying to do/ change in this Moo-Moo year 2009.
Plan ahead:
Use my planner 100%. Last few years I used it like 70% only. Plan holidays and everything. Get ready money for renting house at the end of the year. Gain financial freedom.
Study the best out of the best:
I think I still can give my best of all in study. I need to study more. Next half of the year I will have final exams and professional exams, for licensure or so. Need to review all that I've learnt. For all 6 semesters eh~ *pann pann*
Do not gossip or even get affected!
Ya, it's important for me because I used to be victim of gossip. Latest juiciest I ever heard was *tskkk tskk* I got 2 BF at one time, in PENANG. Do you want to laugh? I feel helpless and not sure should I laugh. My classmates said I should clarify that I have more than 2 BFs at once.
*sigh* I realised the power of men's words. It's sharper than sword. It kills in shadow. Good thing is I don't get that much of hurts compared with last time. v(^o^)v And emotionally I got zero impacts. I'm growing stronger than ever.
Love everyone around you. Revolution in me- emotionally, spiritually, physically (?!). Ya, I learn humility (new lesson) from my couz when they were back to M'sia. Do English-ed people react more generously to new-comers? Actually all human beings are of equal the same. Are all precious and honoured in God's sight- Isaiah 43: 4 I'm learning about acceptance. I am learning not to despise, not to judge, not to gossip. (Gossip is a habit, something fun as some people may put it.)
Slim down excess fat layers with exercises.
But continue to eat good. Eat more veges, less red meats. Serious, must continue to enjoy wellness of food and the experiences of dining-in. A lot of restaurants are yet to be discovered.

Anything left out will be edited or add into new post. Happy (Belated) New Year~

It's not shit enough

to be called a shit.

That's how I replied to Lin when she said "Tonight is shit." I think it's very happy although something happened while on the way back and each of us in the ride lost RM 6. (no elaboration here.)
XD

I had a good evening! Why not? I had a good good dinner (at 6 p.m.) in BREEKS, Gurney for a good price. My meal was just RM 23. *ngekngek* It was early meal 'cause the most exciting part-movie time is awaiting us!
Sharing this with Lin as starter. Caesar salad with sliced mushroom. Mushrooms are raw and aromatic.

My Pasta in mushroom cream sauce and fresh brew.Part of our food.

Venue: Gurney GSC, Theatre 11
Time: 7.20 p.m
*no caramel popcorn and Coke 'cause of my sore throat+dry cough*

I couldn't believe that a dog's love story made my eyes wet!!! (*__*)
I hate dogs. Most of my close friends know this. I hate animals 'cause they have fur and their fur are habitat for parasites, for ticks...... So I am 'anti' them. But I don't despise them however. keke... I still love "cute" movies! This movie was a must-watch for me. I'm happy when the showing time is just so suitable for us, enough time for us to reach hostel before the gates are locked.
It's very touching.
I love how the Dablo (German Shephard) protects Papi's "Love of his life- Chloe" when she's dog-napped by gangsters for illegal dog fighting in Mexico. Ooo, small-but-mighty Chloe fighting with the big black ugly dog.
Of course, I very beh tahan with the Viv's spoilling life for her pet dog, LV dog carrier, the Cashmere costumes, Chanel no. 5, *blink blink* diamond dog tag, wearing booties, and the romantic Landscaper dog- Papi. Papi is so so so mushy and poetic <3

p/s:SMALL talk
Finally I had my first pair of skinny jeans from SEED. From my mom! Can I say I look the best in this after more than a year of searching in different shops. At least, my leg don't look like a pairs of CARROT!!!! And the bum, doesn't look enlarged (or smaller either)... And it's 30%+20% off. And, I don't need to alter the length this time.

p/s: SMALLER talk
I still haven't repair my spoilt camera phone. I miss the 3.2 MP camera that accompany me for camwhoring, for momento-capturing. I am thinking whether to repair it or get new one. It's just 6-month old.

p/s: SMALLEST talk
Gimme some time to upload/update my Christmas *shy*, my New Year countdown, my new semester, and some heart-to-heart talk (some matters about BGR)... I'm just....NOT SO FREE *sob sob*
