It has been too long since September

that I update this. It's full of dusts, gone down to the bottom of your blog lists and you almost forget about tracing my life anymore!
So, now here's the updates.

The AwardI got this offer letter on last Saturday morning from Ms. Principal's hands. I never expect to get this as I walked in and had a seat with a white envelope lying nicely on the glassy office table, addressing to me. I looked blankly ahead. I saw her reflection with a steady poise, like always under the glass. I asked for permission to open the letter. I carefully read through in a fast pace, caught the title, caught the keywords.

"Yes, finally! The day has come!"

I have been waiting for this harvest. I have been faithfully sowing seeds, give water, give sunshines, kill the worms and do the weeding part. Now I have a bunchful of joy, thanksgiving and honour that I want to share with everyone in my family. I emailed out once I got back from office.
I uttered my prayer with a big thanksgiving heart. I thanked God for guiding me through as I see through myself in the vision of how God put me in the right timing, at right place and doing right thing. I have gone through questionings and strugglings, asking why I am suffering here, asking why I am in this damn small island, not attending university, dressing up in chic trendy wear everyday, different shoes each day or wearing nice trench coat and pairing with knee- high boots, walking down streets or, or, or working with some damn good people, no uniform, no bad stuffs, travel everywhere buy cheap local brands goods......

Now that I hope my parents, everyone in the family and especially the 2 young ones can be proud of me!

Terminal Exam + College Professional Final Exam + OSCE (tomorrow)

The first 2 has over. T.E concluded my semester 6 with CGPA of 3.73 and only 1 A while the rest were A- only. Over the 6 semesters, 101 credit hours, the conclusion was 3.83. I believed I could score higher if I never did bad to my first practical exam in my life when I was in semester 2, back to year 2007. That semester was my lousiest of all- 3.72 'cause I secured grade B for practical exam only!
"Shoo, go away, you evil 'stagefright'!"

On the other hand C.P.F.E concluded my 3 years of study here from sem 1 till sem 6. It was pretty tough. Candidates need to know everything at least something, some key features or key treatment usually renderred. 100 questions of multiple choices- I got so tired darken the tiny 2mm width circle and I hate the carbon smell either. There was 2 days' paper of long answer questions. To sit for that, you got to know everything about each conditions in different systems and what are the nursing interventions. For example, you got to know what to assess when Mr. Lim came into A&E with suspect of fracture left femur, what a nurse has to do before arrival of doctor. Another example, how you manage a patient who will stop breathing suddenly due to closure of airway, what you want to monitor for, what could be the possible complications and what are the typical signs and symptoms of development of complications. In case, you still think that nursing is so damn easy 'cause you heard that nurses just need to FOLLOW behind doctors- last example: what you have to do if doctor order a blood transfusion, before, during and after blood transfusion; what are your responsibilities and health education that you gonna give to Ms. Lim who had a subtotal thyroidectomy (STT) done and discharge with prescription of Tab. Carbimazole and Propanolol.
(Till here, how much you get about my job, my career?)
Ok, I haven't finish. Choose 4 out of 5 questions each day and complete answer within 3 hours. Imagine how I feel when I nicely completed my third question and then I have to tell myself,
"Hey, you have another more to go leh...It's another 25% leh!"
Results are not out yet. I hope everyone of us pass so that we can be eligible for Nursing Board Registration Exam on 22nd December before I can happily celebrate my Christmas in home church.

Ok, the last one is going to be tomorrow and Wednesday. 10 stations in total. Show off the right way after reading the instructions. Show off plus read instructions in 5 minutes! You see, 5 minutes. 300 seconds to complete a job on mannequin or demonstrate use of inhaler or breast-self examination or teach healthy diet to young mother or check visual acuity or do drug calculations or etc. So, follow the principle, follow steps, open the eyes wide&big and hope to score for perfect score of 20 in each cubicle.

Alright, this has gone too far and too dragging long. I am just jotting down my happenings that typical people don't go through. Haha. I will come again for more soon! Buh-bye~
