The Lord is my Shepherd,
I shall not want.
This chapter from The Old Testament has reminded me of God’s sovereignty and abundance.
During one of my daily devotional time,
I came across this once again.
I was refreshed and filled with new faith.
I was under some stresses and pressures; some are eustres, frankly speaking…
I had not been having a peaceful, calm and silent mind.
It seemed that I have to complete so many things by myself.
It seemed that I need to prepare everything, on time.
Before the dateline is arrives.
And then, this night,
I read this from the Daily Bread.
(I do not have a English Bible with me, so I may not be able to copy the whole chapter for reference purpose. If anyone doesn’t mind, please drop in for me! => )
God leads me to the green pasture, the flowing river…
(Something likes that)
It was a lesson to me that in whatever circumstances, conditions, or even when I’m in the battle of mind, struggling with stresses,
I have Jehovah.
His rod comforts me.
He sees my tears.
My broken heart.
My burdens.
My shame.
My weaknesses…
He is being with me.
He fills my cup, overwhelming it…
Yes, He awakens my spirit.
Because of His name,
He leads me on…
On the righteous path.
On the correct way,
On the divine teachings,
On my Christian life…
And therefore,
His name is lifted high.
This Psalms 23,
Remind me of God’s grace and love.
He is always the father for the father-less.
I am not afraid now.
For He’s my shepherd, I am his sheep,
So I shall not want.
