work.fun.celebration

Saturday- the last day of posting to OR. In fact, friday morning I already felt sad. I hope that the time doesn't go away so fast like it always does. Although there are a lot of new things inside and the temperature is always maintained at below 20 degree Celsius, but I do still hope that I can one day get back there to work. Everything was alright after I got to know some of the basic, general knowledge. I can stand for long hours, be able to understand the operations. In fact I saw an amputation. I observed a lot and all tell me "now you know~".

Now, let me tell you something during the last 2 weeks. I think talking all about my work setting is way too boring. Not all can actually stand the imagination of bloody, smelly scenes. First must be my birthday! *jeng jeng jeng*It's my precious moment that I've waited long. You can see how much I appreciate when the clock struck 12!not to forget some WISHES from some people!! heyhey~~So, on the day, I am still doing the usual thing. At night Hooi Lin belanja me McValue Meal. I had a large set of BIG MAC!! 2 refills of iced cold *burp* Coca- cola!!!The hula hoop is my present from my buddies and a pencil stand from Sarawak-ian friends! The hula hoop is what I asked for and granted by them as they wished me successful slimming- down! I need it a lot! Hopefully it helps in some ways......Extra: cute lil pink ankle socks with my initials sewn on it. A- S. I think I will never wear it. My sized- 7 big feet will destroy its cuteness, I suppose!Beside a big tote bag, I got a super- duper cool Casio wrist watch from sweetie! See, it's so look- alike with his Swatch! I guess it's the time to replace my more-than-5-years-old-U2-watch! Good thing about black is that they are so friendly with everything! That's why sweetie always dress like so sad because from head-to-toe, he has everything in black. Protest: TIME FOR a CHANGE! :p
Ok, from mummy, *ahemm* I got a white gold key pendant! *Nah nah nah* Key! Key! Key! Wahahaha~~~Ok, this is a happier one. It's from papa, uncle and aunty! Most surprising is my dad buy me a birthday present. At first I was asking for a model that is pretty more expensive. Roughly RM 1500. Then he got some pamphlets and Panasonic booklets to refer and consider buying me something cheaper. So, Sunday I got the money and cash&carry a Panasonic Lumix FS 15 home. Registered online for 33 months of warranty! *WWOOOHOOO!!!* I was really happy when my dad rang me up and said that this model is equally good, it has 12 MP, wide- angle, 5X optical zoom and it's RM 799. Ok, nevermind though I don't get a TZ 7 which is double the price. Yes, this model is good enough for my camwhoring moments!!! I went round to tell my friends that I know my papa, he is a very thrifty man that don't make big purchase. He and his 2 siblings sponsored this camera so that I can get something good for my birthday and now I can make sure I snap photos during my visit to Sarawak after 2 weeks' time. I got a black one instead of the featured blue (that looks better in reality) and now everything in my handbag are black in colour. Black hp, black camera, black purse and a bunch of key with glow-in-dark keychain~ Thank you papa, sam suk and gu zhe! (I am just too shy to say it to papa.)

*I didn't get to eat a piece of cake for my 21st birthday~ What a flaw!

24.05.09 Pulau Jerejak One day trip! So, from my semester, only a few of us are free to join as some were working on Sunday! After nasi lemak as breakfast, we took a bus and arrived at the jetty near Queensbay Mall. Junior helped us to take picture, or else Hooi Lin (2nd, left) will not be in the photo (like usual!). Note: Nevermind, Hooi Lin, next time we use our camera and take photos FOR EACH OTHER!!! :D Jungle trekking- which I really don't understand why some people love it so much, enjoying themselves with trees, dried leaves on ground, singing of creatures that much. Ok lah, if i have to answer, i will say I enjoy my time with my friends!!!It's so hot and tiring. The terrain was so steep and just soil and roots protruding from the ground. Literally we stepped on the stairs- like jungle to climb up the hill. It's like a few hundreds metres high and I walked my way up. Fu- yoh, anyone want to reward me?! Almost got into short-of-breathe and fatigue. But the thought of my extra cutaneous layers, I managed to complete without being carried down *giggle*. From the photos, I really cannot stand the heat. Sweat like mad!
But, good lah, I sweat a lot. Hopefully fat turns to sweat (^_^:) and I think our bodies don't function that way.See, jungle. And you can see trees and roots everywhere. I never touch anything around me even though when my steps were unstable. I don't want to touch a cold- blooded snakes that mimicked among the tree trunks.Ok, this was taken when we finally came out from the jungle and walking on the tar pathway. Like I said, it's good enough to be called jungle trekking that way. Well- constructed road in between of jungle.Guess what, flying fox to get down to the lower area instead of WALKING! My precious first time. With the smelly helmet and funny safety belt that make my butt looked bigger..(Are you lauging? And I know I am always right!)I hesitated for long time on the edge and thinking which is a better/ comfortable way to swing down. The experienced ones said it's better to go down ourselves than to let those fella release your rope and swing u out. So, I jumped down myself!Great momentum when I arrived at the end point. Swing up to 90 degree. Argh~ Extreme game!Behind me was the suspension bridge that I managed to walk on it. Not that scary because on and off you hear people screaming as they fly like a fox down there and you would think "Wow, looks fun and easy!."Me and a tree. The roots grow wild to a square. You can put a bench there or a sleeping net! Happily jumping under the greenish canopy. That's Agnes from some where in Sarawak who like to sing. I suppose the photo was a NG but you can't tell. We looked like jumping high, even though it's may not be a good timing when the jumping-up pose was captured!Ok, time to go back to Penang. Rested beside swimming pool and Gym room. Oh ya, something. A snake was from nowhere passingby the lobby when I sat down on the couch and talking on the phone. The snake touched my leg. At first I though it's just shoelace of someone sitting beside me. *itchy&cold* I rise up and have a look "eh, the shoe lace was not that long." Suddenly, a junior shouted "snake! snake!". And so, I jumped up from the couch. I was so frightened and unsecure because I was so afraid if a snake just follow me back to hostel in my bagpack. I can't imagine how will I react towards it. I might gone crazy.
