My exam was at 3/11, and 5-7/11. It was started earlier, so that our Indian friend can go home earlier to celebrate Deepavali, without carrying the worries during holiday.
About the result, so far so good. Well, for last test, Test 2, we were just informed about our result. Happy that my roommate and me get the same position in our class! *haha* Therefore, no 2nd this time. *giggle*
Prior to exam, I could hardly study long time. It was during the revision week, I tried hard to stay up late, basically as late as I could. It’s real hard, some more I was having URTI (upper respiratory tract infection) with unproductive cough. The cough was irritating. Doctor prescribed me Rhinathiol with Promethazine. No doubt, I took once and that’s it. The Promethazine in it has hypnotise effect. How can I sleep when everyone was STUDYING, K-book???!!! (Thus, my cough took 2 weeks plus to recover.)
The worst thing happened was…*sigh* I was HYPERSOMNIA during the revision week. I was very well-done in class. But at the evening, I could sleep so, so, so long. As if taking barbiturates or Valium, Dormicum… I slept like pig. Having hard time to study during critical period is a torture, having to see my room mate’s study progress is another pressure.
As I always said, learning, sitting in class is the most pleasurable thing to do; because you will never know how does it feels like to be a nurse/ student nurse (currently). Tired, stress, leg pain, backache, pressure… Sometimes, to the extent of I might regret about it.
I managed to get my studies done, studied crazily, CONSISTENTLY throughout the day, listen attentively to all the tips and hints the tutors might reveal.
Living days and nights with loads of notes is tough and torture of my life! Studied till late night, getting up early, to eat good breakfast then lined up for exam… this time of exam, I had joined my friends’ study group. It was fun as we were like giving each other the accountability and teaching, helping each others…
I could hardly understand why stress increases the desire to eat. Perhaps ADH does its works. Dear fellow and friends…I EAT a lot… *keke*
