...Ok after 2 hours plus (took ferry), So I arrive in Gurney after fetching another friend, to meet up with another 3 girls... Then we begin our special day.
Actually nothing so special around. But we saw Power Rangers. Teach the kids some sidekicks and punch...lolz... publicly promoting violence~~ Oh, true COSPLAY! MAny sales, but I didn't have the impulses to buy anything.Ok, I said I am hungry. So we went restaurant-to-restaurant to search for hot deal for lunch.
This is a good deal. You pay RM 100 and you get RM 100 cash voucher for your next visit. But hmmm... " See first"
Price is XXXX but heard that the portion is good for sharing. But no set lunch. We're looking for sets. Sorry and bye bye.
RM 10 cash voucher for 4 dines-in. But we have 6~ "Can we get RM 15?"
" Oh, new opening~" The 'promoter-waiter' was introducing some good seafood dishes. I had a fond memory in the KLCC branch when I was there in June.
So we had fun while waiting for the waiters and their manager "ohm ohm ohm" inside, preparing for first day of service~ Balloons for KIDS. Anyone can take.
So, finally they 'open'. We're the first table of customers. Everyone greeted us LOUDLY and with a big 'first-day' smile.
The menus are new. Now I know the rugged, old menu books are customers' fault! Oh, seafood... My fav.
That's all we ordered. (row to row, left to right) menu with tasty photos, Iced lemon tea (bottomless), soup of the day (mushroom soup), Caesar salad, (FREE) deep fried mushroom, Fish & Chips (Dory fillet), Calamari Creamy Fettucine, Manhattan Seafood platter (signature).The mushroom dish is a courtesy of a handsome guy. The market trainer people. I've forgotten why he gave us free already. But he is very nice! (Some more gave 6 of us a permanent discount card at the end of the dish, it's his name card with the fish sticker)
All of the dishes are near to perfect and worth a good catch. The mushroom soup is special for its colour. Never seen mushroom soup is not creamy white colour one.
Closer look to our main main main course. We have many main course, but this one is a very endorphin-producing dish. I love the creamy flaming prawn, dory fillet, calamari, and surprising-crispily fresh fried oysters. Of course, to make the dish more filling, chips and garlic rice are at the bottom. The fire is to melt the cream cheese I suppose. But the dish is not hot! (Awww...)
Our bill came to a yummy RM 178. Very happy and worth it. We get RM 20 cash voucher *teehee* (don't ask me why). We got good customer service (first day mah~). We will definitely go for another good seafood meals again in near future. Definitely a good-catch~
